Description

Do you wake up with tight skin even though you apply cream every night? Most creams contain a lot of water: they evaporate before they finish their work.

This concentrated balm is water-free: It forms a thin layer that retains your skin's moisture all night long. This is thanks to the Tallow it contains, which has fats similar to those in your skin. So it nourishes exactly where it's needed.

How to use

With clean, slightly damp skin, warm a tiny amount (like a lentil) between your fingers and gently press it onto your face and neck.

  • At night: as the last step of your routine, to seal in everything else.
  • During the day: only on dry areas, before sunscreen.
  • A thin layer is enough: if your skin is very shiny, you used too much.

Ingredients

Purified grass-fed beef tallow 80%, jojoba oil 10%, arrowroot powder 5%, tapioca starch 3%, zinc oxide 1%, sea buckthorn seed oil 1%.

That is the complete formula. Since it contains no water, the balm is self-preserving.

Frequent questions

Before buying

Is it comedogenic? Will it make me break out?

Tallow and jojoba almost never clog pores, but every skin is different. If you are acne-prone, start by applying it every other night and only to dry areas. For skin with active breakouts, it's better to start with our sulfur soap.

Does it work if I have oily skin?

Yes, in moderation: use it only at night and only on dry areas (cheeks, around the lips). Oily skin can also have a damaged barrier, especially if you use strong cleansers.

What does it smell like?

Almost none. It has no perfume or essential oils. Tallow has a very subtle natural scent that disappears after a few minutes.

Can I use it with retinol or acids?

Yes. Apply it as the last step, on top of your treatments: the layer it forms helps retinol and acids irritate less.

How long does a jar last?

With the recommended amount—a pea-sized amount at a time—a jar will last you several months of nightly use. If it runs out in weeks, you're using too much.
